(This article was first written in 2014…and I have adapted it as it is an evergreen one AKA the value within it doesn’t expire because the year has!)
Each year as we get closer to the New Year it is deemed by marketers to be your next great potential year. This is true for every year, they can be your best in any moment in fact, not just as the clock strikes midnight to bring in the new one!
A New Year is of course more than a marketing dream; it is where you dreams can become reality. Again not just because the clock has struck midnight and heralded a New Year.
Realising that potential is more about whether you accept the possibility and then manifest, attract and create the experience to make the New Year (or next moment) the best ever! It’s about being deliberately on purpose and not just hoping the date change creates a divine miracle.
Without getting in the how to manifest and attract – the nitty gritty of detail; there is a key first step you have to take first.
You have to make a decision!
A decision to really want to make a change in your life (and business). A decision to grow, expand, release, heal and transform and do it despite what fears crop up…and they do. Fears are ever present and still at the time of updating this article, in 2016 people let fears be their driver. The reason why saying NO to your best year becomes the default on repeat pattern.
And here’s the thing…
That decision is best made before the New Year and taken into the New Year. You don’t wait and say as of next year, or in January I will…! No! You start your process, your growth, healing, transformation, expansion etc. before so you enter the New Year and transition in with ‘YOUR NEW WAY’. If you don’t then you are putting it off and that is old patterning which is moving into the New Year with you!
Saying NO to you and telling yourself you can’t is a way of holding yourself back to from manifesting the best transformation, growth, expansion etc. For most this is as immediate as saying I want to achieve XYZ and then the undercurrent of the unconscious has already over turned and thrown out that decision with fear being in charge!
If you have made a decision it then has to be backed up with action! Action often gets a bad press in the spiritual minded community. Not by all but certainly by many. Action is said to be masculine and pushy and not feminine. This is poppy cock.
Action is a necessary partner to energy work. Everything in the universe is taking action so why not you?
To take action you need a…
…Manifestation Plan
In fact…without a manifestation plan you will be hit and miss with your manifestation attempts, more likely to be distracted and always feeling like you aren’t quite sure how to make everything fall into place!
Here I am sharing with you a simple manifestation plan which follows from the decision you first make!
#2 Get clear on what you want – I talked about this in a previous article in this series…if you haven’t seen it then it’s a must read.
#3 Don’t just be, DO! Plan to DO and then do it. Being is simply holding ideas and not letting yourself breath them into the world. It is like holding your breath. Do that too long and you would soon die and if you are just being with your dreams for your life and business and not doing then the same will happen – your dreams will die.
#4 Spend time with yourself daily! Give yourself space as well as time to work with manifestation processes. Sounds kind of obvious however when people come to me at the end of their tether wanting to know WHY they can’t manifest and why nothing is working, it soon becomes obvious they ‘know’ a process they simply haven’t been in process!
#5 Stop seeing things as ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. In life and business if you judge something that has happened as ‘wrong’ then you have lost the ability to learn from it and you have separated from it. Just because something didn’t work out the way you expected or hoped doesn’t mean that it was a lost or a wasted opportunity. There is always something good coming out of everything that happens. It’s a universal law and if you judge this as not so, you lose the ability to experience good and thwart all your manifestation efforts. Evaluation is not a judgement…just for your notes.
#6 Never stop learning and expanding! If things appear to be adverse or slow in manifesting, as in everything is an uphill struggle then of course refer back to #1 …look at where you may have gone back on your decision. Then review your plan to manifest (which this is part of), are their steps to revisit, deepen or simply redo?
#7 Lighten up. Have some FUN and the world doesn’t end because you feel you manifested something you didn’t want. How do you know it isn’t exactly what your Soul wanted to take you somewhere fantastic? Nothing is ever your last chance saloon either! You have to believe….and lighten up!
The plan I have shared with you today is an over arching one and there are techniques within the process. If you want more then ask me! When I am growing, I turn to my mentors for more support as there is no point struggling and falling deeper into a hole!
If you want to talk to me about how I can help you become a manifestation expert then contact me today and let’s talk! It’s my gift and I will show you how you can make manifesting your gift too!
Sarupa Shah

Hey Sarupa
I think when we hop out of the zone, where we are following a path that feels right, it’s harder to make everything pan out perfectly.
My best times were when I didn’t have a ‘grand plan’ .. I just started a small biz with little experience, loved it, carried on enjoying it and the work kept on coming, with a little advertising and after a few months ‘setting it up.’
Allowing things to ‘roll their own way’ a little is kind of a way to manifest the right people to come to you, I feel. 🙂
Totally agree about having fun! 😉
Grand Plan…? Sounds like you had one with the ‘work’ and advertising…manifesting is always about allowing of course however you have to show up first as you demonstrate… 😀
That’s a good way to look at it Sarupa, because after a while .. when the ‘rolling along’ worked .. it became a case of ‘Don’t mend what ain’t broken.’ 🙂 And in it’s own ‘un-planned’ way, that became the Grand Plan I guess!
Number three and five really resonate with me. I love the reframe of three and thinking that your ideas will just die if you don’t breathe them in to the world. It somehow feels less scary and less selfish this way.
I am really enjoying 5 at the moment. Things haven’t worked out as I expected but I haven’t been disappointed, I know better things are coming.
The only one I haven’t got to grips with is 1 and finding a manifestation system that works for me but I will keep working on it.
Thanks Sarupa.
I love this Sarupa – I have just got to a ‘lighten up’ stage, where I have committed to not beating myself up for things that don’t go immediately as planned.
Before stage 1 I always put in a step of drawing a line under what has been, I think that’s especially important when big changes and plans are afoot.
Useful plan Sarupa thank you.
Spending time with myself, nurturing my dream is where I’ve lacked especially, getting bogged down in the day to day.
Also, trusting myself and the universe. That’s been a big learning this year.
TRUST is a biggie for everyone – as long as we don’t trust we try and control and when we control we go small as we cannot imagine navugating the true magnificence we are as it is incomprehensible! It’s a case of let go, trust and have fun come what may 😀 Happy Manifesting – you are a powerful woman, I know!
So many tips in one article! Great way to get thinking about the new way of ‘being’ and doing in 2015
